I am very happy that I manage to make IndianBee more than Indian than 
ever with providing the complete on the fly one click translation into English into Hindi.
Other Indian Languages mainly south Indian languages will be added soon.It makes so much difference when we can go online and read stuff in our own mother tongue. Though it will be a very difficult task to achieve its worth while.
Plus the toolbar is jsut for the lazy few who try hard to move the cursor all the way to the top of the screen for the menu’s you can get the search and the frequently used links.
I was relacutant to open up search to non-registered members but analysis requires the search to be open for public atleast for a month then it will be decided upon the results from the analysis whether to keep it open or closed.

I dont give much to PR and stuff as it doesnt really show a websites stand in searches.But it does show the quality of content a website carries.I am surprised that they updated the PR today on 31st.
Okay the more important stuff is that we are ready for moving the server to AMAZON.Amazon S3 service lets anyone use huge amounts of storage space at rock bottom prices.Something like a GN for $.015 thats hundred times less than what we are paying now.
And as the videos are getting huge and we offering HD videos makes the move sensible, So to all you indianbee users what is the biggest video file you guys have try them on
So expect more errors and slow load times of in house videos.As I try my best to get it done as soon as possible.The in house video upload will be unavailable until further notice.
This will make IndianBee the best video sharing platform allowing uploads free of cost.

As I already told you before, I am trying to make indianbee as fast as it can possibly be, right now the speed at which the welcome page loads is way below what I am striving for right now and thats faster than 98% of the websites you will come across (Yeah apart from those old Static HTML Govt Websites ).
Faster than orkut? lol I dont know you guys should be the judge.Anyway the videos are streaming at their best the only reports where on the profile pages.Where again lot of it is also on the part of the users.
1.Make sure you guys clear your Temp Files.
2.FF slows down considerably if it does have the necessary RAM to play with.If you like me. lazy to type and loves FF to remember everything I do online then you must atleast use 512 MB RAM, 2 GB L2 cache.
3.Stop Cursing Me.
As I try to make Indianbee go faster you might see the occasional error message.Don’t hit the panic button Everything Is Not Under Control and more likely that I am working behind.I will put up a message immediately if an error pop-ups letting you guys know

As everyone can see the activity per user and the number of user becoming active are both increasing as Mr.Bee gets more popular and more features are being added. As a result I have decided to change the location of the server and add some more meat into the servers.
I dont want IndianBee to be unavailable due to lack of resources. Dont want IndianBeez to see “Service Unavailable “ Contact the idiot behind the bee.

IndianBee Has couple of new features now.One Which I blogged about last week.Its photo tagging its live now.And You tage every photo with your friends names Simple Just click on the place you want the name to appear and a screen comes up with a list showing all your friends select the right one you need.
Its as simple as that. Now the second thing is groups allow sharing of videos and also photos from now.All wall photos can have pthots and videos in it….

Yep within a week or if I am lazy within 10 days we will see photo tagging on Indianbee. I really liked photo tagging feature and also atleast 30 people would have mailed support asking for it.
I cant ignore popular demand even if demands to changing indianbee to beeindian.Nope we are not going to do that lol.So what is photo tagging for those who haven’t been using the big SNs which is highly unlikely unless you already got lots of Love (lol).
- Tagging Friends
You can now tag your friend in any of your photo! That is you can call them by names I know you guys always wanted to do that. You can give them any name right click on their faces and a option to select the person should come up if all the geeks worked. Then you just enter the name.
Volla we are tagging now….

The intention is to allow users have their own ads displaying in their profile pages. Its profile and they should also have the freedom of showing whatever they want on their profile and thats the information
The best dimension for any profile would be 468×60. That is the best dimension.
Just Go to Applications –> Browse —> Add the Revenue Share Application
Put your code into the settings. That’s it
You are displaying your google adsense ads on your profile. Everytime another IndianBee Member sees your profile your ads will be shown to them.
So the more active you are, more the chances are that someone will see your profile and the more the chances for your ads to pop up.

I wanted to do this for sometime now and I was kicking myself for not doing this earlier. I think its important to you guys know how things are going on with Indianbee and how it will be evolving in future. What new features are being added or what is going to be added .
What better day than the Independence Day huh? I mean we are free to do what ever we want, Purse our dreams, We guys take everything for granted , we fail to realise what price our ancestors paid to get us the most precious gift anyone can give “Freedom”.

Ajax Commenting On IndianBee.com
September 28th, 2009All the comments are now live for sometime.But just go faster. Comment are added on the fly without reloading the whole page.Ajax not only saves you server bandwidth, but new comments appear graceful, slick and smooth.
Come on I know what everyone thinks about commenting when they are watching a video? Especially In India where the internet is slow.(I am stuck at 256Kbps )
. We dont want the video or the page to reload in the middle of something. At the same time dont wanna waste our precious time. Now comment on the fly baby.
Yep, Ajax is our saviour. Help us to comment while we watch the video or read a blog
